Quality Management

As a specialized manufacturer of relays with forcibly guided contacts and industrial automation components, we bear a special responsibility for our products as they are frequently used in areas of functional safety. Every employee of ELESTA GmbH consciously accepts this responsibility every day.

For us, quality does not only mean flawless production and the execution of necessary test steps. For us, quality begins with the product idea, accompanies the product through all development phases up to production readiness and continues with product maintenance. The entire supply chain with suppliers and service providers is integrated into the quality processes. Clear control loops for the release of products, production facilities, suppliers and purchasing materials form the basis for our high quality level.

We rely on the skills and experience of our employees. The CIP (Continuous Improvement Process) is installed in all areas. The suggestions and ideas of our employees flow directly into the further development of products and processes with the aim of constantly increasing customer satisfaction.

ELESTA GmbH has been ISO 9001 certified since 2008. A three-stage Q-control loop based on the PDCA cycle according to Deming (Plan-Do-Check-Act) forms the foundation for targeted analyses and sustainable improvements. At so-called Pareto tables, current anomalies or deviations are regularly discussed with cross-departmental teams in the form of shop floor management, measures defined and their implementation checked. Thus, direct communication is used to implement efficient solutions.

Clear, flat structures are promoted by our lean management system. Regular audits, internally, at suppliers, by our customers, external auditors or in benchmark competitions enable us to continuously develop our quality. ELESTA GmbH lives “Swiss Quality”.
