GEO Global Excellence Award goes to ELESTA GmbH
For the 28th time already, the management consultancy A.T. Kearney, with SV Veranstaltungen and the trade magazine Produktion, is honouring companies for exemplary production concepts.
The entire value chain was evaluated in a multi-stage selection process. In the last stage, a company audit was conducted under the direction of A.T. Kearney. The jury consisting of renowned experts from industry and science chose ELESTA GmbH as the winner of the special prize GEO Award – Global Excellence in Operations 2019.
The reason given for the presentation of the GEO Award 2019 is the company’s lean and flexible production concepts and its ecological orientation. “The ELESTA factory manages to be highly profitable like no other competitor with its concept”, says Marc Lakner, project manager of the “Factory of the Year”.
The award ceremony took place on 26 November 2020 as an online event with a corresponding presentation of the winning works.
