The excitement is building: ELESTA has made it to the final of the ElectroTEC Pioneer Award in the ‘Sustainability’ category. This audience award, presented by the trade media brands elektrotechnikAUTOMATISIERUNG and ELEKTRONIKPRAXIS in collaboration with inpotron and WDI AG, recognises pioneering products and ideas in the electronics industry. The voting phase has already been completed and ELESTA will be represented at the award ceremony on 10 April 2025 in Würzburg.
Electrifying Ideas Award: ELESTA competes with SID double armature relay
ELESTA is applying for the Electrifying Ideas Award 2025 from the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association (ZVEI) with the SID double armature relay. This award recognises innovative ideas that focus on energy and resource efficiency and make a positive contribution to society. Special emphasis is placed on supporting the All-Electric Society, which integrates the use of green hydrogen.
The SID relay, a double armature relay with forcibly guided contacts, impresses with its sustainability over the entire life cycle. It replaces two conventional relays, thereby reducing the use of materials and energy consumption in production and enabling a more compact design in the application. It is also characterised by lower power consumption during operation. The innovative, sustainable packaging emphasises ELESTA's holistic approach to sustainability.
The shortlist of nominees for the Electrifying Ideas Award will be announced in April 2025. The award ceremony will take place as part of the ZVEI eSummit.
