Change at the top management of ELESTA GmbH

Under the aegis of Harald Förster, ELESTA GmbH from Bad Ragaz (Canton St. Gallen / Switzerland) achieved considerable growth and currently employs around 350 people. New relay series were introduced to the market – and the field of industrial sensor technology became the innovation driver in the PILZ group of companies. In 2022, to celebrate the company’s 25th anniversary, the company moved into the extension building. This roughly doubled the production area and created the necessary space to accommodate future growth.

As of 1 May 2023, Marcel Mettler will take over the management of the company. Marcel Mettler, who was previously Managing Director of the Pilz sales branch in Switzerland and most recently Vice President – Europe Region Central East at PILZ, brings with him extensive technical expertise and experience in industrial automation within the field of functional safety. He plans to further strengthen the company’s innovative strength in the field of sensor technology and relays with forcibly guided contacts in order to secure the company’s future viability.

The change in management provides the basis for the continuous development of the company.
