Packaging Compliance (PPWR)
Anyone placing packaged products on the market in the EU requires reliable data on the packaging. The Packaging Regulation (EU) 2025/40 (PPWR) has set out uniform requirements for this since 12 August 2026 and places obligations on every operator in the supply chain.
ELESTA supports you in fulfilling your documentation obligations. We provide a packaging data sheet for every unit of sales packaging for our products. It contains:
- Identification of the packaging and its association with the product series
- Dimensions, weights and volumes of packaging components
- A bill of materials with material specifications for each component
- Heavy metal content (total of lead, cadmium, mercury and chromium VI) in accordance with Article 5 of the PPWR
- Recycled content
- Information on reuse and disposal
The declarations of conformity document that our packaging complies with the requirements of the PPWR.
