Quality Management


As a specialized manufacturer of relays with forcibly guided contacts, high-precision encoder systems and components for industrial automation, we have a special responsibility for our products as they are often used in areas of functional safety. Each employee faces this responsibility every day.

Quality does not only mean flawless manufacturing and implementation of necessary test steps. With us, quality starts with the product idea, accompanies the product through all development phases to production and continues in the product maintenance. The entire supply chain with suppliers and service providers are involved in the quality processes. Clear control loops for the release of products, manufacturing facilities, suppliers and purchasing materials form the basis of our high quality level.

We rely on the skills and experience of our employees. The CIP (Continuous Improvement Process) is installed in all areas of the company. The suggestions and ideas of our employees are directly incorporated into the development of products and processes to increase customer satisfaction steadily.

Since 2008, ELESTA is certified according to ISO 9001. Our three-stage Q-control loop based on the PDCA cycle by Deming (Plan-Do-Check-Act) provides the foundation for targeted analysis and sustainable improvements. Current problems or discrepancies are regularly discussed, defined and tested at so called Pareto-Tables with cross-departmental teams in the shop-floor management. This direct communication is used to implement efficient solutions.

Clear, flat structures are supported by our lean management system. Regular audits, internal, with suppliers, our customers, external auditors or benchmark competitions allow us to continually improve our quality. We at ELESTA GmbH make "Swiss Quality" come to live.
